We won’t hide the fact that the pattern-making team at Majam really racked their brains to create a design that met these specifications… And it’s been a total success that our customers love!
In terms of style, this is an elegant, lined coat that stands out for its wide, pointed shawl collar that drapes low at the front. It can be worn open or closed thanks to its tie belt.
As for the sewing—and as you’ve probably figured out, that was the whole point—it’s easy to sew! We’ve even created a complete video tutorial to make sure you can successfully sew your coat.

The Everest Coat Pattern
For the second Majam coat, we decided to step it up a notch in terms of complexity: The Everest coat pattern is full of lovely details.
The coat features an incredibly elegant shawl collar, gorgeous cuffs, and charming peasant pockets (optional). When it comes to subtle details, we also love the matching topstitching on the collar, cuffs, and back. Finally, this coat is fully lined—quality through and through!
