Before sewing, you’ll need to set the fabric —that is, iron it with plenty of steam. This will stabilize the fabric before sewing. For care, opt for regular dry cleaning. Wool loves to be treated gently! So avoid the dryer and let it dry flat to preserve its texture and shape. With proper care, your woolen garment will stay beautiful and warm for many years to come.

If your project calls for fusible interfacing, be sure to use one specifically designed for wool fabrics, such as Vlieseline G405.
