So weโve created sewing patterns for jackets ranging from Easy (2/5) to Advanced (4/5) levels. For example, the Olga coat pattern was designed for those making their first sewn coat. Itโs elegant, lined, and easy to sew!
On the other hand, the Everest coat pattern is full of intricate details. Itโs best suited for more experienced seamstresses.

The PDF version is a digital file (.zip) containing the pattern files in A4 format for printing at home and A0 format for full-size printing. The sewing booklet is also available as a PDF file.

A quick fabric tip: For wool projects, as an exception, do not machine-wash your fabric before sewing it. Instead, you should โdecatโ itโthat is, iron it using as much steam as possible.
Finishing touches are the final details that will make all the difference when sewing your jacket or coat pattern. Pay special attention to hems, seams, and details such as pockets and buttons. Use high-quality thread and make sure your stitches are neat and even.
Another finishing touch: the vast majority of our jacket and coat patterns are designed with a lining. This will instantly give your project a professional look! When it comes to linings, here at Majam we recommend using antistatic linings, which are very easy to insert โespecially in the sleeves.
