This refers to the length of the roll of fabric.
Example: Imagine you’re in a store, asking the sales clerk for 1 meter of fabric. She’ll unroll 1 meter of the roll, and you’ll end up with a piece of fabric measuring 1 m by the length of the roll (= the width). 

You will receive 2 pieces of fabric, each measuring 1 meter

If you want one 2-meter piece in a single piece, add the 2-meter piece to your cart.

It's that simple! We sell all our fabrics by the yard. We do not sell fabric by the cut.
